Fairmount park farmer’s market

In Journal on August 11, 2016

You should go to this farmer’s market, if you live near Gerrard and Coxwell in Toronto.
It is quite small but there’s something neat and cozy. You can definitely enjoy the summer!

Vacation – Japan

In Journal on August 10, 2016

I always stop in Japan when I go to Korea for my vacation. I lived in Japan for a year in 2005. I would say Japan is my second home.

There are lots of memorable spots in Tokyo and it is a place where I’d always love to go.

I spent 4 days this time, I met my soul mate, Sayaka. It was super amazing.

Vacation – Korea

In Journal on July 29, 2016

To be honest, I feel always weird to say, I went to Korea for my “vacation”.

Korea can’t be a vacation place for me, it is my home. It will be always, wherever I live.

Anyways, here are some pictures of my HOME place 🙂

Mishima Yukio

In Journal on June 30, 2016

IMG_5386

The book that I’m reading at the moment.

IMG_5390

Mishima Yukio is my favourite writer. His expression sometimes gives me goose bumps (In a good way!).
I even cried when I finished reading ‘The temple of the golden pavilion’
Unfortunately, he chose the wrong path in terms of politics, but I can’t help loving his writing.

Here’s one of my favourite his quotes,

“Real danger is nothing more than just living. Of course, living is merely the chaos of existence,

but more than that it’s a crazy mixed-up business of dismantling existence instant by instant to the point

where the original chaos is restored, and taking strength from the uncertainty and the fear that chaos

brings to re-create existence instant by instant. You won’t find another job as dangerous as that.

There isn’t any fear in existence itself, or any uncertainty, but living creates it.”

staying home

I am a person who loves going out but the winter here in Canada is something I can never get over with.

IMG_3988

So I just stay home and rearrange my little decor stuff (this is my only fun for staying home)

I got this little painting from a second hand shop. I don’t know why but as soon as I saw this painting I just had to get it.
I just loved it.

Winter is my least favourite season and I can’t wait to see the greens in the spring. However, I do think that there’s beauty in the winter.
Hot tea, cozy sweater, hugging time with my man 🙂

iphone time

In Journal on January 12, 2016

I felt like taking some pictures and walking around the city today.
My DSLR camera is quite bulky so I decided to take my phone instead.
Actually I was impressed by the quality of iphone camera.

Usually I prefer taking streetcar on my dayoff. I love looking through windows at the streets.

New start, New stuff

In Journal on January 9, 2016

I didn’t make any new year’s resolution but I cleaned up the kitchen, bathroom and the christmas tree.
It was like New year’s ceremony for me.
I hate cleaning but I have to say, I feel really good to see the clean area. I also feel proud of myself 🙂

IMG_3957

Bye bye to the little christmas tree!

I had been wanting to get this old apple keyboard for a long time. And finally I could get my hands on it from Amazon.
I just loooooove the sound of tapping this keyboard!!! I am literally looking for anything to type. haha.

IMG_3963

And also, I am in very artistic mood lately so I had to get these colour pencils. It was quite expensive but I wasn’t hesitant at all.
I was telling myself not to be cheap on ART. :p

IMG_3968

OOOOH… I feel fascinated to just see the colours…

Bye, bye 2015

work_01

I’ve been working non stop from November since it’s very busy season for the restaurant.
So all I do is staying home, chilling before I go to work. Finding some indie cool music on Youtube became my routine.

Today’s discovery is Dustin Tebbutt.

Christmas is my favourite holiday in Canada.  I don’t feel anything on Easter or Thanksgiving because I didn’t
grew up in that kind of atmosphere. I am not a religious person but I just love the warmth from Christmas.

Happy Christmas!
